Napa Valley Residence

Hills and vineyards provide the setting and unique landscape for this residence designed to connect the land and wine to contemporary living within their realm. The main residence is a composition of three pavilions focusing east, south and west. Shorter vistas embrace the foreground vineyards and extend to the longer views of the surrounding ridges and mountains. A fourth pavilion serves as a separate guest wing. The ridge to the east of these structures becomes a landscape enclosure with its climbing vineyard. Embedded in the hill will be the winery and caves. The roofs of the pavilions are faceted in stainless steel with the pavilions clad in stone and glass.
